Strategically leveraging hard work and learning fundamentals, she’s found herself with the perfect horse, Stevie, and this dynamic duo has placed TOP 5 in the NRCHA world for two years running. A cattle industry professional by trade with 5 Rivers Cattle Feeding, LLC, Kim is knowledgable and well spoken about all aspects of the cattle and equestrian worlds.

A practicing veterinarian from the Idaho Equine Hospital in Nampa, Idaho, Dr. Jared Sharp joins us to chat all things horse myths as submitted by the fans. After being raised on a Christmas Tree farm in western Oregon, he went on to be a collegiate rodeo contestant while attending veterinary school. He’s gone to school or worked in Oregon, Texas, New Mexico and now Idaho but completed his four-years of veterinary school at Oregon State University.

It’s a three-man race for average money between Smith, five-time world champion Sage Kimzey, and last year’s bull riding rookie Boudreaux Campbell.

December 6, 2019 (Las Vegas, Nevada) - There were some surprises and some major highlights to start off Round 1 of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, the Super Bowl of Rodeos, happening Las Vegas, Nevada from now through December 14th. Contestants are vying to not only take a chunk of the $84,615.38 paid out NIGHTLY in each event, but also a part of the $253,846.15 average payout per event. To put that amount in perspective, Tanner Brunner arrived in Sin City with $74,950.31 in earnings in that event and first in the average, if won outright, could get you $67,269.23!
